I spent 16+ years as founding operator of an American made, consumer products brand specializing in waxed canvas and leather bags. Under the umbrella of Moop Shop, I built two other brands serving the B2B and D2C, consumer products markets. Moop Shop was a digitally native, e-commerce brand which grew to include brick & mortar retail manufacturing locations in Pittsburgh, PA and Seattle, WA. Founded in early 2007, closed in late 2023. 

I am a Creative Director, Brand Builder, Softgoods Designer, Storyteller, Photographer, Writer, Textile Manufacturer and Small Business Consultant. My entrepreneurial career and brand ownership experience has given me a uniquely balanced perspective that has relied heavily on my ability to create strong brand cultures through products, marketing, packaging, management and placemaking. I believe in the role brands, corporations and small businesses play in defining the culture of a city. I have worked to build brands that operate as contributors to the economy through design, hospitality and job creation.
